Description
This historic church has its roots in a log cabin building called the Bethlehem Meeting House in 1836, shared with two other denominations. The Methodist congregation built their own church in the tiny town of Everett, Missouri in 1860, but made the decision 41 years later to move the church to Woodlandville, a larger community with better roads and more thriving business. The land was purchased in 1901 and the church was dedicated in 1902. In October of 2001, the Woodlandville Methodist Church celebrated it's centennial anniversary. Although the town of Woodlandville is a shadow of it's former self, it's little country church continues to thrive.
