This bridge is on Green Valley Drive, spanning Hinkson Creek in Columbia, Missouri. The bridge, built in 1906 for $8200.00 by the Kansas City Bridge Company, was originally two spans, crossing the Lamine River, in nearby Cooper County, Missouri. In 1938 one of the spans was moved to its current location, and the other span was moved to a different location in Cooper County. The 171 foot bridge is no longer open to motor vehicles, but still offers a glimpse into the past.

As a farm wife and mother-of-two, Cricket Hackmann's love of photography began with documenting her children's days...and has expanded to become a means of holding on to a piece of all the beauty that surrounds us. Her goal is to produce vibrant, stunning images of the rural landscapes and close-ups of nature in central Missouri...with occasional other subjects included as they catch her eye.
