Heading up the drive to the home place, a mist of fog hangs in the low areas, soon to be burned away by the morning sun. Starlings chatter in the tree tops, and cattle and horses graze contentedly in the fields, just out of sight. Another beautiful fall day in the country!

As a farm wife and mother-of-two, Cricket Hackmann's love of photography began with documenting her children's days...and has expanded to become a means of holding on to a piece of all the beauty that surrounds us.
