Description
Built for $2400 in 1872, this pretty little white frame church was named for the might oaks that surrounded it. Although it's been added on to over the years, the congregation still worships in the original sanctuary. Originally there were two front doors: one for men, and one for women. In the 1950s the entry was remodeled, giving the church the wide double door entrance in use today. (North of Columbia, Missouri)
