Description
Located in a very "off the beaten path" town called Koeltztown, Missouri, this lovely church owes it's creation to the very dedicated and persistent German immigrants that founded it. The building was begun in 1858, and in the successive years the church suffered many challenging times, including loss of parishioners to new churches closer to home, windstorms and fires causing extensive damage. Through it all, the little parish has always found a way to persevere. Mass is still held three times a week, sharing a pastor with the nearby St. Aloysius Church in Argyle.
