Artist's Description

At one time, this bridge provided the connection between Boone County and Callaway County, Missouri, crossing Cedar Creek. I guess it still does, although now, it's foot traffic only. As communities change and grow in different directions, so do the traffic patterns. I'm glad that they found a way to save this old bridge. It's a popular spot for the locals to "get away from it all" and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. (Near Englewood, Missouri)
