The "Avenue of the Flags" was created to honor our local veterans. Each of the flags has a nameplate for the specific veteran that flag is honoring or remembering. Ashland, Missouri may be a small town, but it has a big heart, especially where it's veterans are concerned. Mine swells with pride every time I pass this display of honor and gratitude.
