Description
A panoramic view of the mountains on one side of Cades Cove, in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cove (or valley) was home to settlers who farmed this area from the early 1820s until it became part of the National Park System in the 1930s. Cades Cove is the most visted portion of the park, and is one of the few places that you can view wildlife and human history at the same time.
