Artist's Description

I followed the blacktop road as far as it would go, and when it turned to gravel, I kept on going, until even the gravel road ended. Parking the car, I got out and walked across the old iron bridge, until I reached the center, and could enjoy the downstream view of Cedar Creek, making it's way to the Missouri River. Evening is falling, and the shadows are stretching, and spring is in full bloom. Peace, quiet, tranquility...I'm filled with gratitude. (Near Englewood, Missouri)
