Goshen Primitive Baptist Church sits on a hill overlooking the Missouri River, in southern Boone County, Missouri. The church's history is almost as long as the county itself. Generations of families have been buried here, beginning in the early 1800s. In a time when it seems that no one stays in one place for very long, it's nice to see a community that values it's deep roots.

Cricket Hackmann is a fine art photographer specializing in Missouri landscapes. As a farm wife and mother-of-two, Cricket Hackmann's love of photography began with documenting her children's days...and has expanded to become a means of holding on to a piece of all the beauty that surrounds us. Her goal is to produce vibrant, stunning images of the rural landscapes and close-ups of nature in central Missouri...with occasional other subjects included as they catch her eye.
