The owners of this barn chose the "Prairie Queen" quilt pattern for their barn, because their farm house, built in 1910, is known as "The Prairie." This Cooper County, Missouri barn is located in a cornfield between Highway 41 and Springs Road, north of Lamine. The barn is on the Boonslick Quilt Trail, and this image is number 15 in my quilt barn collection.
