A sunny morning gives the fresh snow a dazzling appearance. The low spot just before the bend in the road is where the road crosses a small creek. This is also a favorite crossing spot for wildlife...causing my family to nickname it "Critter Corner." Over the years, we've seen deer, foxes, skunks, turkeys, 'possums, turtles and racoons crossing the road at this corner. (Taken northwest of Ashland, Missouri).
